Daniel Reece began playing music at the age of 5, reluctantly learning the piano at his mother’s request. He then learned the drums, the guitar, and a few other instruments in high school while playing in numerous groups. His beginnings in the music industry didn’t start until the middle of the pandemic, when his online university classes bored him much more than his songwriting did. This lead him to start recording his own music and then to release his first single “Our Song” in 2021. Daniel has since completed his bachelor’s of science degree at UFV with plans of pursuing medicine and releasing an EP. With his strong jazz influence from his teens, Daniel utilizes unique sounds with a smooth acoustic pop feel.

Pleasant Trees//

A sense of adventure is certainly one of the many ways to describe Pleasant Trees. This Surrey, BC based Folk Rock band weaves tales through their music of life, love, and pain that are sure to sweep you up and take you along for the journey. Inspired by the world around them, they combine influences from all different genres and styles so that every track is a new and wondrous tale.

With a wide range of influences from Canadian Folk Legends like Tragically Hip, and Great Big sea, to more Pop/Folk and Rock influences like Mumford and Sons, and Imagine Dragons, Pleasant Trees - James Acton Guitar & Vocals, Beccah Kult Flute & Vocals, Nathan Browns Keyboard & Vocals, Elliot Moye Drums - promises a unique journey with every show. 

Currently fin the studio, Pleasant Trees, is excited to be bringing their second EP, currently untitled, following their 2020 release of EP ‘Pleasant Trees’. The currently untitled second EP takes everything you know and love about Pleasant Trees and bumps it up a notch. You can find the band throughout British Columbia live in all types of venues. Tayos//

Tayos is a four-piece Chilliwack band made up of 
Connor James; lead singer and rhythm guitarist, 
Raphael Medina; bassist and backup vocalist, 
Bryce Richardson; lead guitarist and backup vocalist and 
Mykal Storey; percussionist. 
With the most recent additions being; Aron Burchart, sound engineer, 
Landon Johnston, band videographer, rounding out the technical side of things. 
The group began by playing a multitude of cover songs, quickly moving onto writing their own original music showing no signs of slowing down anytime soon. Drawing inspiration from Led Zeppelin to Bob Dylan, Van Halen to The Beatles and everything in between, the group has acquired an eclectic grouping of originals on their debut album “Flintlocks and Feathers”, out on all major music streaming platforms now!
