Back together with a core that remains the same, but stepping into new territory with a new purpose and energy, Vancouver’s Dried Out are embracing their garage rock roots with added elements of psychedelia, noise, and post-punk. 2018 and 2019 were departure years for Henry Peters (vocals & rhythm guitar) and Luke Basso (lead guitar), which saw them form side project Sleeepy Dog and release an EP in 2019. During that time they began collaborating with Juraj Pisko (drums) and Greg Enns (bass) with the intent of writing and recording a full-length album. As song writing progressed throughout 2019, it became clear that their new material was sounding undeniably like Dried Out and that it was time to reform the band under this new lineup. During the pandemic year music flourished, with Dried Out set to release their first new full-length LP since 2017’s “By Design”. With the working title “Pleasantly Dull”, the album's lyrics and tones are focused on themes of self-acceptance, maturation, and confronting regret. Recording begins May 1st at Phony! Records with Rain City Recorder's JJ Heath behind the helm. "Pleasantly Dull" is scheduled for release this September, coinciding with the return of live shows to this musically starved city.

Anemics//
ANEMICS are a four piece band based in Vancouver, BC. The members first came together playing in different bands in Vancouver’s underground music scene and bonded over their love for punk rock.
After the dissolution of their other acts and a lot of casual jamming between the members in different configurations, the main line up of the band got established. Cam is in charge of vocals and rhythm guitar, Marie gets the pleasure of playing lead guitar, Kyle sits on the drums and Daniel handles the bass.
Half brazilian, half canadian, the band combines many influences that blend into a moody branch of rock and roll. Their sound brings together the surf-punk of Man or Astro-Man? and Yonatan Gat, a garage sleaziness derived from Pavement and Pixies and the prog-math-weirdness of Adrian Belew (Marie’s favourite guitarist ♡).
Sometimes described as “Dracula Surf-Rock” or “Skate Egypt-Rock”, the band simultaneously released three live tracks through a streamed concert, and will release their debut album Not Ideal in the Fall of 2021.

Mooshy Face is the best and only goof-punk band from Sevvy’s garage in Vancouver, B.C., Canada. No other goof-punk band from Sevvy’s garage has ever surpassed them in excellence. Focusing on being mooshy, alcohol, aliens, and alcohol, Mooshy Face strives to be one of the most relevant bands singing about these things. The three-piece band, consisting of three people, encourages their fans and friends come together and be frans instead.
